Becoming A Student
When you call for your personal interview the financial aid officer will discuss with you necessary documents to be brought to the financial aid office if you desire federal financial aid assistance. Lee’s is an accredited and licensed establishment that allows us to offer “the student” financial aid for school and living expenses. To be licensed in the State of Arkansas as a Cosmetologist, you must be at least 16 years of age, possess a GED or high school diploma, have 1500 hours certified on file with the Arkansas State Board Office and successfully pass the 3 part state board exam which consists of a written (administered by computer) Arkansas State Cosmetology Laws (administered by computer) and a 2 hour practical exam (administered by trained examiners at the Arkansas State Board Testing Center, 101 E. Capitol, Little Rock, AR)
